Does a dog shrink when they grow old?
i have two dogs at home. A nine year old female pomeranian and a shih tsu. My female pomeranian is really old. she escaped from death 3 times. she used to be very cheerful and active but now she’s very boring (i still love her though) she’s getting smaller to by day. she shrinks! i swear 2 months ago she was bigger, but now she’s no bigger than a cat. i have three hypothesis about this case
ONE, my shih tsu dog has grown TOO FAST so that my pomeranian looks really small. My shih tsu dong is bigger than any other shih tsu. If she’s a human, she might be as tall as Maria Sharapova.
TWO, I am wrong. My pomeranian isn’t getting any smaller. My eye problem has got worse. or maybe it’s brain problem now.
THREE, a dog DOES shrink when they grow old. My grandma’s sister’s housekeeper is probably 80 years old. 10 years ago, she was as tall as my mom’s ears, now she got smaller. If that happens to human, why can’t it happen to dogs?
so far, i think my third hypothesis is the best answer. if my doggy does shrink it might shrink to the size of a hamster. she’ll become a portable dog! that’s practical. What do you think?
